U12 Festival Aquahub

This marks our 3rd year taking part in these Festivals Organized by the Aquatic Association of Malta. Aquahub started with a team of 15 swimmers and grew into a team of over 30 young kids ranging from 4 to 11 years of age! The kids love taking part, with the excitement being felt by all kids/Coaches including the parents.

It is a time when Aquahub gets to see all the work that has been put in by the kids and their Coaches and not forgetting the sacrifices the parents make to keep their kids attending no matter what is going on outside the pool in their daily life. It is truly rewarding, seeing the fruit from the seeds sown years ago!

The kids take part in an variety of events from one lap races to four lap races across all the four strokes. The Festival takes place 2 to 3 times per year in preparation for the local Time Trials and Swimming Nationals, preparing them for the next stage in their swimming development.

Every session these kids take when summed up together gives them the best opportunity to develop a skill many wish to have. In learning this skill they become competent in this field which in turn gives them confidence. That is what we teach at Aquahub.
